CUP feature most recently updated July 2023. Updates included the addition of non-alcohol CUPs as well as field name changes to clarify and incorporate other CUP types. Points are placed on the building or property that is subject to the CUP. Features are updated as CUPs are approved as well as a yearly update to check on active status of each CUP. Active: Yes for all CUP's with businesses still operating. Otherwise No.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

Case Number: Case number assigned by the Planning Department.<\/SPAN><\/P>

CUP Type: Types of CUPs as follows; Alcohol, Use, Height, Parking, Exterior Design/Materials.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

Approval Date: Date approved by Planning and Zoning Commission.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

Effective Date: Date CUP became effective. This could be the same as approval date but sometimes CUPs are approved with the condition they will be effective on Certificate of Occupancy or TABC license. <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

Expiration Type: Type of expiration; 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, TABC, Does not expire, Other, or Unknown. TABC expired upon TABC license expiring. <\/SPAN><\/P>

Expiration Date: Date of expiration, if any.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

CBA: Is the CUP in the Central Business Area, Y(Yes) or N(No). Only pertains to alcohol CUPs. For all others its left Null. <\/SPAN><\/P>

CBA Type: For alcohol CUPs in the CBA, are they classified as a bar or a restaurant. Previous terms for bar = un-restricted, restaurant = restricted. Terms updated to current in Code SMTX adopted April 2018.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

Music Condition: Any music conditions for a CUP. Only pertains to alcohol CUPs. For all others left Null. <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

Late Hours: If a business is open late hours, midnight to 2am. Only pertains to alcohol CUPs. For all others left Null. <\/SPAN><\/P>

TABC Permit: Most recent TABC permit number. Only pertains to alcohol CUPs. For all others left Null. Most important for alcohol CUPs where TABC is the expiration type. <\/SPAN><\/P>
