The Plan is a vision and policy document intended to guide the growth and evolution of the City for the next 20-30 years. It is based on community input and feedback and includes the community’s vision for a variety of physical and programmatic areas that influence how San Marcos evolves and grows in the years ahead.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>As a part of this plan, the Preferred Growth Scenario established Place Types to guide future development. A Place Type assesses a place more holistically and at a larger scale, incorporating guidance for land use, transportation, layout, design, and more. A place typology defines a set of places that are unique and authentic to the community and its needs. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This feature was originally created by MIG, consultants for the Vision SMTX Comprehensive Plan project, using 2021 parcel data from the city.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
